Because of that, their relationship was built on mutual respect for who the other was as a person and not “insta-true-love-forever”. I loved that their relationship wasn’t an “insta-love” attraction, but that it grew from true friendship.
This was such a fun read and I fell in love with both Dimple and Rishi. This was one of my favorite books of the year.
Everything wasn’t perfect, but there were so many lovely opportunities to smile while reading. There was a wonderful balance of cringe-worthy moments and absolute adorableness. With graduation behind her, she’s more than ready for a break from her family, from Mamma’s inexplicable obsession with her finding the “Ideal Indian Husband.” Ugh.
